Vemric Enterprises Ltd was honoured to be received by the Chief Officer for Agriculture, Food Security, Livestock & Blue Economy, Ms. Elizabeth Adongo, following our formal request for a courtesy call and collaboration meeting .
The engagement brought together our Norwegian exchange partners — Val Skoler, AquaFind AS, and The Aquaculture Consortium (TAC) — who are currently in Kenya under a three-month professional exchange programme supported by the Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec) at Jumbo Fish Farm.
As the operator of the Lwanda K’otieno Mini Fish Processing Plant and a key value chain player within the TAC ecosystem, Vemric reaffirmed its commitment to:
? Strengthening sustainable aquaculture systems
? Supporting fish health & water quality management
? Advancing digitization and traceability across the value chain
? Deploying modern aquaculture & fish processing equipment
? Aligning with Siaya County’s Lake Victoria spatial planning agenda
The meeting further reinforced the County’s hashtag#LongRainsCampaign2026 theme:
“Restore, Protect and Explore the Lake.”
Through structured international collaboration, technology transfer, and responsible production practices, we are positioning Siaya County as a regional hub for sustainable blue economy growth.
We appreciate the warm reception and look forward to translating this engagement into practical, measurable impact for farmers, landing sites, and processors across the County.
